Bonjour, Montréal
Living in one of Canada's major cities, it was interesting to see what it was like in the French-run city of Montreal. From Toronto, streets like Queen Street West most resembled those we saw at Sainte-Catherine Street. The area was completely decorated for the holiday season with wreathes, lights, and Christmas trees--it's still a month away but it got us feeling so festive! However, if we had to choose one, it had to be Old Montreal that won our hearts over. The cobblestone roads, old fashioned architecture, boutique stores and hipster cafes caught our eyes with its individuality. Still keeping chic, we decided to style our coats with scarves to keep our necks warm (it was windy and cold!) and comfortable shoes for the long walks.
